    As explained before, it was our understanding that we pay HD directly. After we signed the waiver stating the job was completed by GBS (waiver was only signed after they had to come to the house again and repair some of the shotty work that was done) Mike took it upon himself to charge my credit card for the full amount owing as the sales person from HD had been on vacation and had not processed my payment. Well, little did Mike know that I had indicated that there would be 2 methods of payment and so went he went to use the only one method that he had on file, it obviously did not go through. So Mike calls me up demands that I give him the other method of payment as he is waiting for his payment from HD. I of course told him that I had not seen my final bill and do not know what the final total is from HD and second of all I pay them not GBS. To quote Mike "You have all of the receipts you should be able to add, if you know how to add, and come up with a total. We bent over backwards for you trying to get those repairs you wanted done and now you are making me wait for payment?"

    We hired HD to do the exterior of our house. We were under the impression that we only deal with HD and not the sub; from the time the order goes into the queue to the time payment is required. The work performed by GBS was very mediocre. Caulking looked like it was done by a 2 year old, the workers are extremely messy and leave there garbage everywhere! (ie bags of potatoe chips in between trees, tiny pieces of metal on front porch area, boxes on front lawn) Had to call the sales guy from HD and ask if this is what is to be expected from their sub contractor, because I have had other subs doing various other jobs in my house in the last 3 years and I have never been so disgusted until GBS came along. But I guess that explains why Mike's attitude is disgusting as well!

    At the price charged and the headache to get the job complete and the tiles still coming loose I can only rate as 1 star as the job did get done finally and they did own the mistakes made but the warranty is none existent

    To be clear Mike, and I hope you are reading this....Doing your job that you were hired to do is NOT considered bending over backwards! Also, if your guys had do e their job right to begin with they wouldn't have had to cone back it "bend over backwards". I have formally put in a complaint to HD stating that I will never use Home Depot again for any of my services while you are still kicking around. They guaranteed me that GBS was one of their top contractors and my husband and I truly had the best at hand. You are atrocious! Your attitude and demeanor is despicable. Your workmanship is absolutely careless. And the only reason why you have a 1 star rating from me is because I didn't have the option to give you a 0.

    Mike is by far the most unprofessional contractor that I have ever had to deal with,and the only reason why I was stuck with him was because they are a sub contractor to Home Depot.

    I hired Home Depot to do my siding. The salesman who came was very knowledgeable, and walked us through our many options. When the GBS crew led by Jason showed up they were very professional and kept our property tidy through the whole process. We talked at length about the material and the installation process.

    Very unprofessional. Constant yelling and rude behavior to everyone involed. Would not even talk about fixing the root of the problem as the roof didnt leak where it did before the work was done. Didnt want to fix the problem because "it might open a can of worms" so i guess then water in your ceiling and walls was not a problem. Stay away.

    Terrible service, aweful job the reason for the discount was for a poor job and a shower seat that wasnt even built straight by gbs.

    Had a bathroom tiled, which cost $5000 just for labour. The job took 5 months to complete. The tile job was supposed to be done before christmas as I had a mobility challenged guest coming for a month. The tile wasnt done due to numerous calls to get the guy doing the job to show up and come consistantly. The tile guy showed up at 10:30 and would be gone by 3 with numerous smoke breaks in between. At $65 per hr plus the labourer who had no idea how to cut tile or do much other than talk to the tile guy, both parties were charged at $65 per hour. I was asked to pay the bill before christmas when the job wasnt done, I called the owner and requested he come and look at the job as it wasnt complete and far from satisfactory. The owner finally showed up and agreed the job wasnt done or done well and we negotiated the job down to $5000 and the job would be fixed by another employee who was better at no extra cost The employee was away for awhile so I waited for two weeks and he would come and complete the job of which he did. I was told I had a one year warranty on the job which was finished at the end of feb early march. I had 24 tiles that were loose that had to be replaced. I had 3/4" gaps left for grout and holes around the fixtures as he mis judged the space need for the hole I supplied all the material so I had to get extra to finish the job, most tiles came up and were able to be laid again as they had no cement on them except a small piece the size of a quater. I recently called GBS again as I had two of the tiles loose that needed fixing and was told he wasnt coming back here ever again and suggested I call someone to fix the tile.
